At Fred’s Tiny Houses, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality tiny house trailers. We want to ensure you’re fully satisfied with your purchase. Please carefully review the following policy, which outlines the steps and responsibilities for inspecting your trailer and reporting any defects.

1. Inspection Before Collection or Delivery

It is the client’s responsibility to inspect the tiny house trailer before it leaves our possession. This inspection can be done either:

  • In person at our workshop, or
  • Via video call if you’re unable to visit in person. We are happy to schedule a remote inspection to ensure everything meets your expectations.

2. Reporting Defects

After your trailer has been delivered or collected, you have 30 days to inspect it for any defects. If you discover an issue, please notify us immediately so we can evaluate the claim.

3. Defects Covered by Fred’s Tiny Houses

If a defect is identified within the 30-day period and it is determined to be a manufacturing issue, Fred’s Tiny Houses will rectify the problem at no cost to you. This may include repairs or, if necessary, replacement of parts.

4. Damage Not Covered

Fred’s Tiny Houses is not responsible for any damage that occurs after the trailer leaves our possession. This includes damage during transit, on-site handling, or any use or modifications after delivery. We recommend thoroughly checking your trailer upon receipt to ensure there are no issues before you take possession.

5. Limitations of Responsibility

Once the trailer has left Fred’s Tiny Houses, we are no longer liable for:

  • Any damage caused during transportation or handling by third parties.
  • Any modifications made after delivery that affect the trailer’s structure or function.
  • Wear and tear resulting from regular use.

This policy ensures that Fred’s Tiny Houses remains responsible for any legitimate manufacturing defects, while protecting us from unwarranted claims related to damage or misuse after the trailer is out of our hands.

If you have any questions about this policy or need to schedule an inspection, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
