Deep Dive Tiny House Workshop

Have you taken Fred’s How To Build A Tiny House – The Australian Online Course or previous Weekend Workshop before, and thought, ‘I want to go deeper into my tiny house planning journey; get even more construction details and have time to explore how all this knowledge will apply to my tiny house build’?

Then this weekend workshop is for you.

The Deep Dive Workshop is for:

DIY builders who have COMPLETED:

  • Attended the whole weekend of workshops offered by Fred’s Tiny Houses between 2016 – 2022.

There is a completion requirement for this workshop and your tickets will only be valid when you have completed the prior units.

Advanced Tiny House Course:

Consider this Deep Dive Workshop an advanced course for the ‘How To Build’ series. In the Deep Dive Workshop, you will explore tiny house building details that were not able to be covered in the first course, and have plenty of time to workshop your own ideas with peers who are also seeking elegant solutions in their tiny house project.

This Workshop is Tailored to Your Needs:

Let us know what your hot topics are so that we can tailor the workshop to your needs! We will send ticket-holders a form two weeks before the event asking you what you want to work on in the workshop. We will then tailor the workshop to meet your needs and provide small-group discussions on solving these hot topics within the workshop.

Why? Because we know from years of delivering tiny house house workshops that this is the best part! Participants regularly reflect that the best thing about learning in-person is hearing other people ask questions and the discussions that ensue. We learn so much from hearing other people grapple with problems that they need to solve, and we gain so much from being able to participate in these discussions.

Content Covered:

  • VSB1 Revision 6 compliance for DIY builders
  • Bracing ply dos and dont’s
